The production unit is situated at; plot no. - 2148, Laxmipur – 761003, Orissa which is located near to national highway no.5 (Kalkata To Madras). The production unit is of 30000 sq.ft. Area and per day per shift production capacity is of 1200 sq.ft.
What are the products your company is manufacturing?
The production line of dg tiles & pavers covers a wide range of products like facing tile, designer decorative paving tile, wild stone, concrete mosaic, interlocking pavers (m30, m35, m40, m50) (texture – vermiticular, rough, shining), concrete brick paving (plain and shotblast), grass pavers, combo pavers, flag stones, cobble stones, directional tiles, wall skirting, wall tiles, steps & risers, kerb stone, elevation tiles, balustrades, architectural forms, decorative marble pots, insulation tiles and many other types of innovative concrete products. Besides, we also manufacture export quality products according to country specific standards.
What is your delivery time?
We always maintain 1000 sq.ft. of each category ready for delivery. In the event of bulk requirements, we would be providing a delivery schedule in advance.
Which form of payment do you accept?
We accept DD, TT, LC; drawn in name of DG Tech̢۪s Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Or by cash paid at registered office and properly acknowledged by a money receipt. Alternatively, you can deposit your payment or cheques to our Axis Bank a/c or Sbi Bank a/c. (please confirm account number by sending an e-mail.)
How do i obtain samples?
For samples, we only charge the courier costs which can ordered through DHL, TNT, or FEDEX. We would return the courier cost if you order above one container (10 ton).
Is it possible to keep delivery as same color as sample?
No. Our paving tiles & blocks are made by manual process and hence color tolerance is to be allowed. In fact, differences in color make pavings very unique as well as very natural as in case of natural marbles. Color differences are least in case of colored paving tiles & blocks.

How you manufacture your products and by what technology?
Dg Tiles & Pavers are manufactured in the world class infrastructure equipped with very latest machines. The production process is rather a semi-automatic one and each product is quality checked during production. Basically, we use sieved river sand of recommended sizes and imported grade of chemicals and mouldsand by way of vibro casting and hydration.
Our new generation technology is by way of joint venture with Sistrom Inc. Russia that continuously develops newer designs and advanced methods of manufacturing. This technology is a patented one in many countries.
What are the quality characteristics of your product?
Some very important quality characteristics of our products are like:
- Compressing strength : 600 to 1000 kg/sq.cm.
- Tensile strength at bend : 60 to 150 kg./sq.cm.
- Frost resistance : Not less than 300 cycles.
- Water absorption : Less than 3%
- Wearability (abrasive resistance) : Less than 0.4 g/sq.cm.
- Alkali resistance : Excellent in case of white cement.
How you guarantee quality?
We source our raw material from reputed brands only. Some of them Are Birla White Cement; Bayer Pigmetns (UV Resistance); Swiss Chemical; Sistrom Russian Moulds. The quality is guaranteed according to various test results done in-house as well as at other independent laboratories.
What is paving tiles and why there is a need for it?
Paving tiles are basically exterior tiles and in some cases can also be used in inside building pathways. Instead of making exteriors plain concrete, paving tiles can be laid upon to make them more attractive as well as provides much required good grip under different atmospheric conditions.
There is a huge selection of styles and colors of tile for you to choose. This variety allows creating unique designer patterns and eye catching styles.
How to lay paving tiles?
- Prepare the concrete : Before beginning to lay tiles over concrete, make sure the concrete is properly prepared. Scrub the floor with a scrub brush and some elbow grease. Water cleaning is recommended. Allow it to dry thoroughly. Examine the floor and check for any cracks or pits that need to be fixed before laying tiles. Any undown areas will result the tile to rock back and forth, even after you place tiles. If the tiles are not placed flat, it will crack under pressure. A leveler can be used to make sure that there is a flat surface with no defects.
- Plan tile layout : It is necessary to decide, where to begin and where to end. This is important because you will most likely have to cut at the end to make correct. It is wise to put cut pieces where they could not be easily visible. It is best to mark with a chalk line the entire area before laying.
- Mix the mortar : Once the beginning and ending is decided, begin to mix the mortar. It is not appropriate to mix too much in advance as it sets before you can use it. Using a new trowel spread the mortar over a small area.
- Lay the tiles : Lay the tiles upon mortar and using spacers make sure running with the chalk line. Once tile is placed avoid lifting again. A small change will result adjustment to all tiles. So the work is very attentive. Wash the tiles with a cotton soft cloth for any mortar lefts on tiles. Finally to allow drying.
- Apply of grouts : Paving tiles necessarily do not require grouts to be applied. In matters to inside flooring of paving tiles, grouts can be applied.
- Cleaning : As the floor dries, there is a likelihood of haze forming over the tiles. Allow it to dry completely and then with cotton cloth to clear off the haze.
What are paving blocks, its sizes and designs?

What is brick paving?
Brick paving is a paving block and because of its brick like size; it is named brick paving. Expert designers and architects consider brick paving as an ideal choice because of multifarious patterns and applications.
Bricks pavers can be used around swimming pools and as pathways in landscape gardens. It is flexible because brick paving can be used in many structural and design oriented spaces. Colors can be used to enhance aesthetic looks as well as to provide relief to visually challenged people. Popular patterns of brick paving are running bond, herringbone, basket weave which are further sub categorized.
What are the benefits of paving block? Is it eco-friendly?
There are many benefits of paving block or concrete pavers. Paved way do not crack like asphalt or poured-in-place concrete. Blocks have joints that allow for a movement under stress conditions without breaking. Block pavers are easy to repair or/and replace, importantly when repairs are done to the base or underground utilities. Asphalt, concrete cannot claim this.
About durability and lasting; pavers should last more than 30 years, which is much longer than alternative pavements under normal residential use. It is eco-friendly owing to advantages like; recharge ground water, reduction of Co2 emission, reduction of fresh water toxicity, use of local components, creating a clean and sociable environment, reusable & recyclable and more others.
Is paving block value for money product?
Yes it is. Pavers offer beauty, elegance and above all a sociable environment. It enhances property valuation. It helps to create a feel good factor as well as very welcoming.
What types of color paving blocks are available?
Basically grey colored blocks are ready available. Color paving blocks is order specific and 15% premium pricing. However, color blocks look more attractive and good differentiator.

What Is Permeable Pavers?
Permeable paving is different than pervious paving or porous pavements by virtue of the fact that rain water passes around the paver as opposed to passing through the paver helping to reduce or eliminate clogging found in pervious or porous system. They function by providing a solid surface while at the same time allowing water to drain naturally into the earth through the voids or holes.
Grass pavers, natural cobble stone pavers are of such category. There are other design types also and a lot of development is happening.
What are quality standards of paving tile?
There are many quality standards by different countries. In India one standard reference is : IS 13801/93.
What are quality standards of paving blocks?
Paving blocks are also followed by different standards. In india standard references are like; is 2185(PT.ii)/83 or is 15658/2006.
How to lay paver blocks?
Laying paver blocks or installation of interlocking paving blocks involves a set of procedures as :
- Step – 1: Design and layout
- Step – 2: Estimate quantities
- Step – 3: Excavation
- Step – 4: Base backfill
- Step – 5: Kerb installation
- Step – 6: Bedding sand
- Step – 7: Laying the pavers
- Step – 8: Compaction and finish.

Is it acceptable to use crusher dust as bedding under pavers?
No. Crusher dust has too many fine particles that gets washed out as water flows through the material, and large stone flakes that break down under repeated loads from tires. These two factors result in settlement and ruts developing in driveways. Concrete sand is recommended. It is the same sand used in concrete.
Do I have to seal my pavers?
Sealing is not essential in many applications; with the exception of areas around swimming pools (sealer provides chemical resistance to pool chemicals).
Can dirty and broken blocks be replaced?
Dirty pavers need to be cleaned. When broken blocks is required to be replaced, simply remove the sand surrounding the block by using screwdrivers; insert the new block, fill sand and hammer with a rubber mallet to compact it.
How to estimate costs of paving blocks?
Cost estimation of paving blocks is rather subjective one. Various pavement applications require to meet various quality requirements. Each project work requires individual estimations and specific.
However, our block costs for ex-factory prices are like Rs. 45/-sq.ft. For 60mm blocks of grey type which is just a reference. Again, costs will be provided upon requirements to different quality standards.
Where the pavements can be applied?
The pavements can be applied to pedestrian footpath; domestic driveway; municipal mall/plaza; supermarkets and other car parks; estate road – housing / industrial; warehouse parking; container yards; airport airside pavements and other such areas where pubic as well as vehicular movement is immense.
What is the durability of paving blocks?
Presently all kinds of study has shown life of pavers is more than 40 years.
Paving is likely to suffer from staining and marking due to general trafficking or contamination from other sources. There is also notice of vegetation growing in joints or in areas subject to long periods of dampness.
To remove dirt and detritus, regular brushing is recommended. Warm water may be used. If a power hose is used then care must be taken to avoid the removal of the joint materials and to be inspected again for joining material replaced as required.
Oil penetrates readily into the concrete, but it should not stain if any spillage is removed immediately with an absorbent material like paper towels or cloth. Do not wipe as this will spread will over a wide area. Otherwise, scrub the surface with detergent and wash with hot water.
Bitumen does not stick to concrete and should be left till drying. A scraper plate to be used to remove.
Scuff marks can be removed by steam cleaning or by scrubing with hot water.
Smoke, fire and tobacco stains can be removed by scrubing with soap and water

What is efflorescence?
White patches appearing on the surface of the concrete paving naturally cause concern and this is efflorescence.
It is a surface deposit on the concrete seen either in the form of white patches or as a more general lightening in color. When the later is seen, it is often misinterpreted as a fading or washing out of the color of pigmented concrete.
The weather is a significant factor in efflorescence when concrete becomes wet and dries slowly; therefore occurrences are more frequent in winter months. Generally it only occurs in the early life of the concrete paving products and materials which have been in place for a year or more.
The phenomenon is temporary and will generally disappear in time without affecting strength and quality.
Why paving tiles require more of mainteanance?
Paving tiles require more of maintenance than flooring tiles because of the design itself.
As paving tiles are designed in groove like patterns there is every likelihood of dusts depositing in it which ultimately, help in controlling dusty atmosphere. In a sense paving tiles fulfils the objective of anti skid as well as dust catcher; will necessarily demand a little of maintenance basically cleaning.
Considering the looks of paving tiles, small effort of maintenance and cleaning is worth desired and which ultimately enhances the life of the pavings. The paving tiles always look like new and shinier.
What are the common problems to paving tiles?
Appearance of pin holes, which is due to abrasion. This so happens owing to manufacturer selection of sand aggregates. This problem is addressed by application of an abrasion resistance sealant on the surface of tile. Efflorescence is another problem. A separate question is there and please refer to that particular answer.
Paving tile is not very flat. Yes, the flatness of paving tile is a debatable matter. Paving tiles are basically manufactured by manual process and hence there is a likelihood of flatness problem. But this flatness is more or less by a lesser extent and the mansion has to adjust the tile while laying.
